Summer Shakespeare will always be free, but we encourage a $10 donation per person to help us with the cost of production. Pack a picnic or buy from the on-site restaurants or food trucks. Bring your own blanket or chairs, sit on the bleachers (space is limited), reserve a prime NOBLE SEAT for $30, or “go royal” and buy a full Royal Package for $75 (info below). And this year, adult beverages will be available for purchase from Pastaria!

6:00pm: Pre-show entertainment begins
7:00pm: Performance begins

Get to know Summer Shakespeare

The experience of Nashville Shakespeare Festival's annual Shakespeare in the Park in Centennial Park is beautifully captured in this 2018 video by Jason Wain. The production of A Midsummer Night's Dream was directed by Jaclynn Jutting.


Set on an enchanted island ruled by the wizard Prospero and inhabited by spirits, The Tempest is a play about love, betrayal, and forgiveness that will delight the whole family.
