Calling all Romeos and Juliets for:

The Biggest Balcony Scene Ever!

Friday, April 23 (Will's 446th birthday!) at 6pm

on the South side of the Parthenon in Centennial Park

Just show up!

The Nashville Shakespeare Festival invites you to celebrate Shakespeare's Birthday by participating in The Biggest Balcony Scene Ever!

Come in costume, bring your own Romeo or Juliet, or find one there!

Edited scripts will be provided for the 2 minute scene, and Nashville Shakes Artistic Director, Denice Hicks, will be coaching. Romeos will take their place on the ground, while Juliets line up on the "balcony,"  (top steps of the Parthenon). On cue from the director, the Romeos all say the first line, and Juliets respond according to the script.

Prizes will be given for "Most Creative Costume," "Best Star-Crossed Lovers Costume," and "Best Dog Costume."
